I had paid extra for a parking permit and no permit was provided in the unit, had to pay again to park car on street as we were warned that they monitor these streets day and night. We booked this unit as we needed to do some laundry, it lists a washer and dryer in the amenities to find out we only had a washing machine and no dryer. Tried calling the housekeeping number and did not get an answer till 9am the next morning, also e mailled the office and never did get a reply Tried turning on the radiators to dry our clothes as per instructions in information pamphlet but the instructions did not apply to this unit. The shower unit almost impossible to figure out how to use it. Unit had a damn musty smell and dust on furniture and floors. Bed not very comfortable and unit very overpriced. The flat considering its position in Torquay is excellent value for the money, lots of great nearby places to visit, just by bus and ferry. A few bits and bobs could be fixed in the flat, but nothing that would upset any stay. However more emphasise REALLY SHOULD be made about how STEEP the hill to the mews really is, unless you can use your car to go everywhere ( if near parking space is available ? even with a parking permit) you really do need to be FIT ENOUGH to attempt just the mews hill on its own ##### Alan M. The bed was amazingly comfy and the bathroom was very modern as was the kitchen. We were worried about parking but upon arrival realised that wasn't going to be an issue.
