The hotel is in a lovely location, our room looked out to sea.
The evening meal was nice, quite good value.
Friendly staff and all clean.
Negatives were that parking was very hit and miss, we needed to be able to park close by as I have an elderly mother with mobility issues.
Luckily I have a car that can fit into a tiny space, otherwise it was nearly always full. And you pay £5 a day for it. Plus in completion with large coaches !
The breakfast was not nice.
The food was often dry and had that left too long with the lid off look. It looked stale and tasted unappetising.
The toaster didn’t work properly and after the first morning we expected one side to still be like bread.
I did point it out but the chap doing it seemed completely disinterested.
I know it seems petty but when you go away, the breakfast is usually something you look forward to.
Social distancing was again very hit and miss, our table in the evening was definitely not the standard 2m distance.
And the marrow corridors and number of people meant you were constantly bumping into people around the corner, or backing up.
Apart from that, a nice hotel, clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
