Really enjoyed the stay at the Imperial. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The hotel needed a little TLC but it must be difficult in this economic environment.
Hotel is well placed in the town, views over the sea and 5 minutes walk to the town centre.
The only thing that was bad, was the bed had seen better days and we both got up with bad backs.

All the staff were very polite and helpful. They went out of their way to be helpful.
All the rooms in the hotel were very clean.
The food was excellent. Varied and well cooked and great presentation.
Lounge was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast had lots of variety and served quickly.
It was nice having a concierge to park the car for us.

"Our room keycard was not working when we arrived - this is understandable that there can be problems. But we returned to reception 3 times and were just given new key cards which weren't working each time. It was only when we insisted that someone from reception come and try that it was admitted ..."
