"The owner was extremely helpful and responsive and the location was perfect. The walled garden was perfect for family to gather on warm days. However, although it’s advertised as sleeping 16, it doesn’t have the living space for 16, either to eat or gather. Other staff at the property were very accommodating and we loved the sustainable aspect of everything in the house. "

"The cottage is lovely but it wasn’t cleaned when we arrived and checked in. They sent a cleaning team after we got in touch with the management company and the cottage was only cleaned at 10pm."

"Lovely photos , great village , cosy cottage that was perfect for day trips to York . We all had a fab stay ."

"Love the place."

"Great location, very clean with great facilities and communication with host was excellent"

"It exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the house was well equipped. The hosts were friendly and very helpful."

"Property within pleasant area of York within walking distance of abu 20 - 25 minutes or by local bus. Few local shops and pub close by which were convenient, particularly fish and chip shop round the corner. One feature of property were stairs which were steep and narrow but every effort had been made to illuminate the staircase with handrails available for safety. Would definitely stay again."

"her and dryer, the coffee machine was definitely a wonderful bonus in the morning. Would definitely stay again "

"Great location (less than 10 minutes from the train station and old town centre). The hosts were kind and overall it was a sufficiently pleasant experience."
