It was a half hour walk into York. Not as close as we would like, but good for the money. Plenty of shops close by and free on street parking. A very handy location with easy on-street parking right in front of the house. Well-equipped kitchen with complimentary, quality coffee and tea. Clean, up-to-date bathroom and towels with quality complimentary shampoo and shower gels. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available and there was no dining room table - not a deal-breaker, as there were lower glass lounge tables and our laps!
