"My wife and I had visited Newport via cruise ship twice in years past and wanted more. We decided to stay a few days April 12-16, 2024. Wanting it to be special, I searched for a nice place to stay. After considering several Inns in the area we selected The Francis Malbone House. WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!! The inn (House) was perfectly located. Very convenient to shops, restaurants, and local destinations. Easy walking distance to the wharf areas. We rented a car and parked in the provided car...

"Serena and Shauna were just incredible hosts! The breakfast was really great with innovative custom dishes with a new menu every day. It’s located in a very peaceful and tranquil residential area and a 15 minute walk to the wharf shops and other attractions The rooms were all very modern as was the bathroom with a nice size stand up shower and lots of drawer space for a couple Just a delightful place with such friendly hosts We will be back!!!!"

"Laurence and John were gracious hosts. This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at! Our room was lovely and immaculately clean which I really appreciate. In fact the entire house is immaculate. Laurence makes divine breakfasts and service was outstanding. We didn't really need and lunch. Don't miss the complementary wine and cheese at 5:00pm! The location was great, just steps from Bowen's Warf and lots of great restaurants. Laurence and John went above and beyond to make our stay...

"I chose this property because of its proximity to all of the attractions Newport has to offer. Unfortunately, it rained the entire first two days of our visit. We did walk to places when possible but it was also extremely easy to get Ubers. Paws was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious every morning! I would recommend Paws as a great place to stay in Newport whether you bring a dog or not. "

"The property was great and lots of places to walk my dog. I liked the location, next to the vineyard and easy drive to downtown Newport. My only minor complaint was that I went to the guest services to talk to them about the ants in the kitchen (it rained a lot so I understand ants can happen) and they said they would treat the kitchen that afternoon and they never showed up."
