"It’s a good property next to the river, my suite didn’t really have a beautiful view but it was nice. It’s about 130 baht to get a Grab ride into the old town which is good. The price is not expensive, it’s a good deal."

"Only stayed there the one night before we went to an elephant sanctuary but it was a very nice hotel and the staff were great. If we go back to Chiang Mai we would definitely stay here again."

The property is small and boutique like (just 14 rooms), very nice and top quality. The staff are what makes the property so nice. Yumi, the manageress could not do enough for us, but also all the other staff too were so nice and welcoming. Breakfast almost seemed like having your own personal chef. The only down sides with the property are what quite a few other guests have commented on, and that is the fact that the hotel is quite a way out of town (a taxi needed both directions), and that the...

We stayed for 2 nights and we were pleased with the variety of food for breakfast, the early check-in given and the easy check out. We were given a connecting room so it was really a very comfortable stay.
No hassle.

Fantastic little hotel. Small touches like free water, fruit, coffee and snacks make it stand out. Great staff, lovely clean and spacious room. Best value hotel I've ever stayed at. Cannot fault it.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in for this price! All of the staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. They always go the extra mile, even when we didn’t ask for help they’ve thought of what we might need for our day excursion and offered us bottled water, insect repellent and face masks. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, making breakfast experience such a treat. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed with all the modern amenities. Great hotel in an ideal location inside the city wall. Friendly staff who are available 24 hours.
Tasty breakfast provided with complimentary drinking water, tea and coffee provided in reception all hours. This was a massive bonus knowing we could go back to drinking water.
Nice pool outside with a few sunbeds.
Would stay here again.

We had hired a car and drove from the airport and had no problems parking at the hotel. The Lanna style of the hotel gives a unique feel and a pleasant hideaway from the outside. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food option in the restaurant and it appeared to cater for many different tastes. The Spa Cenvaree was excellent and worth booking for one of their treatments, we booked in a couple of time during our 2 weeks stay. Within a 5-minute walking...

When I arrived I received a voucher for a free drink and a welcome gift as well as being upgraded and in my room fresh fruit, the staff were just excellent very polite, friendly and helpful, good choice of food at breakfast time, the pool area was good as was my room(1501) If I do come back to Chiang Mai again I will definitely stay at the Empress Hotel

This is a really amazing hotel in a good quiet location yet only 15 minute to night market and old town.
Can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the place is immaculate. If you go to Chiang Mai stay there!!

I stayed at this lovely hotel for 7 nights towards the beginning of December. The staff welcomed me with a glass of juice on arrival and, as I arrived too early, they allowed me to leave my luggage there until the room was vacated and ready.
The location is excellent with easy access to most places of interest. And, just about next door, there's a wonderful massage place called Da Massage where a lady called Dlen will make you feel like you are walking on clouds.

I loved the whole atmoshere of it: staff helped always, were at hand but never too much; traditional interior with many artwork around selected perfectly in balance - not too much but enough to grab your attention.
location is perfect too: a walking market is just around the corner on sundays, near great places to eat, easy to access.
I would go there anytime and would recommend to anyone.

Very attractive, clean hotel with excellent restaurant, gym and pool, Wi-Fi, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Situated five minute drive from airport in a lively district on the outskirts of Chang Mai with local shops, bars, restaurants and a shopping mall within walking distance.
Being so close to the airport, expect some periodic aircraft noise as the hotel is right on line with the runway.
Chang Mai is a taxi ride away, but the cost is quite low, around 150-200 Baht.
