"Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. Basic toiletries (soap and showergel) were provided as were towels and bedding. tea, coffee and sugar were also there and the host provided a small pint of milk and a small pack of biscuits on arrival. "Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine "

"We stayed at the mallard lodge for 3 night and absolutely loved it, the place is beautiful it is well looked after. The lodge has everything you need and every clean, beautiful views and plenty of fish in the pond for those who like fishing we definitely enjoyed fishing.We will definitely be returning."

"We stayed in Kestrel for a long weekend and the lodge is very clean, light and airy. It had everything we needed for our stay. The site is very well kept, quiet, peaceful and in a good location, not too far from Lincoln. The site managers were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely book again!"

"Was a fab chilled week away. Watching shooting stars from the hot tub was awesome. Great location for national trust visiting and other historic places or if you wanted shopping there were towns for that. The lodge had everything you need. Downsides minor.. tv not having any signal but we knew our Netflix account so could watch that. People walking their dogs at night round the back of lodge with their torches when you’re in hot tub… frightens the life out of you!! 🤣"

"My partner and I booked a standard family room for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious, the view from the window was really good and you could see all of Nottingham. The staff were very friendly and helpful during the stay and offered to keep our bags after check out for an extra £2 which helped for transport times. We tried the food in the lobby (pollo pizza) which was made fresh and tasted good, the price was £15 which might be a lot of a pizza but I think worth it. The local area around the hotel was calm and safe, with lots of business around e.g., tesco, pubs, sainsbury's, cinemas and town centre. The bathroom was a bit small but not an issue for such a small stay. Overall, definitely worth the money as it was cheap but good standards "
