"Fran is a wonderful host and crammed so many helpful little touches into the Old Stables, from a full set of guides and pamphlets to local activities to a comprehensive welcome package of essentials such as milk, water and cereals. It's nice to find a place to stay that even has sauces and salt and pepper - much overlooked by other property owners. "Great hotel with boutique rooms. The staff were simply amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and although a bit tired in places was spotlessly clean. We upgraded from continental breakfast to full English and omg, it was so good and a very large portion. I must also mention the coffee which was, and this is no exaggeration the best we have ever tasted, it was from ‘Forge’ coffee roasters in Sheffield if you are interested. "The cottage is situated in a peaceful rural environment yet just a minute or two's drive from the A52 with easy access to Grantham, Nottingham and beyond. The cottage itself is spacious and homely with every facility you could wish for. We loved it. Lynn has thought of everything and likes to communicate personally to ensure her guests are fully briefed about the cottage, its history and the local area. Fabulous!"

"Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. "
