Restored from when Lord Byron had parties here, the decor draws the eye everywhere you look, from the classically designed mirrors to the elegant sweeping staircase. Each room has its quirky features that makes you realise you are somewhere special. Evening meals were a special treat from the resident chef. Walks round the lakes and woods sooth the soul .
