Our family get together weekend at The Old Oak Tree was supreme!
Absolutely faultless from arriving, check-in, accommodation, welcome, rear patio/beer garden, drinks service, dinner food and service.
Breakfast was fantastic, the whole team was attentive, polite and helpful from beginning to end - a totally positive experience. The Old Oak Tree is fabulous in all departments!!

We had 2 rooms at The Old Red House at the end of October 26. They were both clean, spacious, well maintained and very quiet. The accommodation is in a separate building at the back of the pub, and is all on the ground floor but there are a couple of steps on the path to the rooms. Callum and Kirsty were very helpful and friendly.
Please do note that they do not provide breakfast and during winter the pub is closed on Monday and Tuesday. This did not bother us in the slightest as here are...

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff. We found the Library and lounge lovely to sit and relax, but equaly a pleasure to work in when duty calls. The food is also of superior quality, breakfast and...

Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.
