"Great base of operations in SF. Great location. Good view. Could faintly hear the people in the room next door occasionally but that was likely because of the conjoined rooms."

"Front desk person was friendly and helpful. Rooms were decent and clean. Breakfast was ok. They had parking at the hotel for $30 a night, which was well worth it however it was a very very tight squeeze. Pool was across the street at their sister hotel, which was a little inconvenient. My son, his girlfriend & my grandson‘s room based the corner of seventh Street and Mission and had an OK view of the city. The room I shared with my two teenage granddaughters, and one of their friends had a view of a bus stop on Mission Street where we saw all kinds of horrendous things such as drug deals, unhoused, people sleeping on the sidewalk, paramedics picking someone up in the middle of the night, someone drugged out or drunk, screaming, and yelling at 2:00am in the morning for at least an hour. Even though the hotel was decent & the rooms were clean and the security was good and security was definitely needed. I would never stay there again because of the nasty area it is in, especially with teenage kids."

"over a hundred yr old hotel so it was not the modern hilton but had everything travelers need. sf was hot so ac would help but i understand ac will be added shortly i wad an enjoyable stay"

"This is a hidden gem! We were somewhat leery booking this property because the price was $150 for the night. What we experienced was a great boutique style hotel. The room was smaller but had a large walk in closet, which you don’t see in hotels. This allowed us to put luggage in there and made the room feel bigger. Highly recommend staying here!"
