"Amazing front desk service, super welcoming. Arguably the most convenient location if attending a multiday event at the NEC due ti be right by the rail. Only issue I had is the hallway to the rooms was creepy. Have painted walls, felt very under construction with little light. Could have just been my floor tho."

"Lovely Village Inn, spotlessly clean. Helpful friendly staff. The music from the did in the bar was a bit too loud, it’s a small bar and the music was bouncing. We couldn’t hear each other talking, but we were only staying one night. All in all, it’s a lovely venue"

"The only downside to the stay is the rooms are very hot, but they do supply you with a fan. Steph (reception) and the lady that looked after us at breakfast - chef’s kiss! Brilliant customer service."

"We had a really good experience with staff. Jess in the Roccos restaurant was attentive, professional, human and practical as was Emma in the spa. A big than you for going through all the dressing gowns to find my sunglasses. The food was excellent quality, as was service. The room was fine with good security and there was a great atmosphere in the lounge in the evenings. The cons were that for a hotel of this quality we did expect complimentary water in the rooms, hand / body cream too. There was also no mini bar/fridge. Plus our room was not serviced on our second day which was disappointing. There are no water stations anywhere other than the spa, and a cashless system would maybe make things easier. Especially for the spa. These are minor things and did not ruin our stay but for the price and standards expected, these elements were lacking."
