Find Dog-Friendly Hotels in Sursee

"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was excellent. The service was top-notch and most of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces – they truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. However, I must point out a disappointing experience with one staff member, Erwin. Unfortunately, his attitude stood out in contrast to the otherwise outstanding team. When I arrived with four large suitcases in my car, I asked if I could briefly park outside the hotel just to unload my luggage. Erwin firmly refused and told me I had to park in the basement of the building across the street, which has no lift. I had to drag all four bags up a slope and across to the hotel myself. What made it worse was that when I entered the lobby clearly struggling, he saw me but made no effort to assist. Additionally, during check-in, Erwin failed to mention that items in the minibar were complimentary, which I found out later. It felt as though he was intentionally withholding that information, which left a negative impression. Aside from this, the rest of the stay was truly enjoyable. The other staff members were amazing – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s a shame that one individual’s behavior affected an otherwise perfect stay. "

"The room was a good size but with a rather bland in design. The bed was large and comfortable. The AC seemed to struggle to maintain temperature and was quite loud. The shower also had a couple of issues. First was that, like the AC, the temperature control didn’t work very well. The water temperature would vary from luke warm to uncomfortably hot at times - without you adjusting it. Also the shower had two opening corners that were missing gaskets at the bottom so a lot of water ended up on the floor unless you were very careful. The location of the hotel made it easy visit a lot of tourist spots on foot. The included breakfast was reasonably good. The items were oddly distributed so you had to look for things that would normally be together e.g. butter near the bread."

"Great location just one street back from the lake front. A good price for the area. Rooms were a good size. Only a short walk to the train station. Breakfast had enough options to find something we liked. I would return to this hotel if back in the area."

"Our stay here was virtually perfect. The hotel has all the right amenities and then some. There is something incredibly comfortable in the room which makes it one of the best stays we've ever had in Europe as a whole. Pros: - historic but very well renovated - great AC - perfect location - lake views are incredible - staff is great - daily chocolate treats were a unique surprise - incredible bathroom (private toilet, double sink, great water flow, waterfall shower, great quality shampoo/conditioner/soap) - international outlet adapter, USB c outlets by the bed - perfect blackout shades - perfectly quiet rooms, especially with the windows closed - awesome historical artifacts in the room Cons: - it was a shame that our reservation didn't include breakfast. Maybe it was related to Expedia itself though since it seems strange that such an expensive hotel wouldn't have that by default. "
