"My husband and I stayed here five years ago and came back to celebrate our birthdays. Gina and Jonathan are such lovely hosts and we love their cottage. It felt like we were back at home when we stayed again and had an amazing nine days. We couldn’t fault a thing and hope to return again!Thank you for a wonderful stay."
"From the start walking into reception staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure both myself and wife had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The room was immaculate, tea & coffee on tap, bottled water, fresh milk in the mini fridge.
Breakfast was covered from full English, continental, fruit & yogurt, toast to mention just a few items on offer to cater for all,
Big shout out to Mike who was always at hand to apiece any of requests.
Overall, can’t wait to return, with my wife already looking at dates for September "

"Everything about The Getaway was perfect. Penny & Gary were the most gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could ever need. As far as location, you couldn’t get a much better spot, close to Sainsburys for your grocery needs and a short walk to town or the beach. We visit Cornwall every 2 years and The Getaway will be our home away from home every time now! "

"Location, Location, Location!!Amazing views from all rooms. Such a great house with spacious rooms.We have been coming to Bude for the last 7 years and this is definitely the best house we have stopped in.Parking is a little tight behind the house but this was made clear when booking so didnt worry us.I am sure we will back in the future."
