Warm, friendly hotel with efficient staff, excellent meals and spacious room. Its position in the village was central so handy for all the facilities the village had to offer.
Lovely hotel spoiled by poor service in the restaurant and bar. Really nice rooms and great food - just not always what was ordered! Staff were nice but lacking in direction and expertise.
We had a lovely night away, was treated to a bottle of wine and had a absolutely amazing night! Breakfast was to die for. Only thing I could recommend is maybe something for younger adults to do in the evening such as pool table or fruit machines
Stayed for 1 night with my granddaughter , had a twin room Which was very clean and the beds very comfortable . Breakfast was amazing one of the best English breakfasts I have had , service was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful , would certainly recommend this hotel
A wonderful English experience. This is a beautiful building in excellent condition supported by very able staff.
What really let the room down there was no curtain in the bedroom, only a white wooden blind which let in the early morning light and being woken at 8.30 am by the gardener strimming grass near our room, we left promptly with out breakfast! Otherwise it was a really lovely hotel and we enjoyed walking ...
booked for a 3 night break to include dinner bed and breakfast, first impression was very good room was on ground floor very clean and bright modern bathroom soft towels. Bed was great to sleep on plus freeview .the only downside was the little security light which stayed on don't think you need ...
We stayed at the cottage attached to the manor the night before my daughters wedding and stayed in the manor on the night of the wedding. Was really lovely polite helpful staff and lovely clean rooms. Breakfast was really nice.
