Lovely hotel spoiled by poor service in the restaurant and bar. Really nice rooms and great food - just not always what was ordered! Staff were nice but lacking in direction and expertise.
Arrived quite late and left early so not really able to get full taste of hotel. Rooms are very clean but really not of my taste, kind of Victorian meets 21st century with twist of 50's retro ??? I visit the hotel several times a year, on my own or with my little granddaughter, and we both love it. We stayed at the cottage attached to the manor the night before my daughters wedding and stayed in the manor on the night of the wedding. Was really lovely polite helpful staff and lovely clean rooms. Breakfast was really nice.
This was our second time we have stayed in this Hotel. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was laid out excellent, looked very inviting and was very enjoyable. I would happily recommend this Hotel and look forward to our next stay there.
