"We really enjoyed our visit, liked the hotel which had a cosy friendly atmosphere. Clare was particularly helpful when our television would not work, she made two visits to our room to resolve the matter to our satisfaction. Clare was also very chatty and friendly when we had other queries, a valuable asset to the hotel."

"Having stayed at the hotel before it changed hands, we decided to return because of its convenient location close to the station. We’re so pleased we did! Our stay was just as enjoyable as before. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. The hotel was clean and well looked after, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The only slight downside for me was that I didn’t sleep particularly well because I prefer a firmer pillows. That’s purely a personal preference and certainly not a reflection on the hotel. We did also miss the pool table—it was a nice little extra that we remembered from previous stays! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay such a pleasant one. We look forward to visiting again."

"For value and location this 'Room' at the College is excellent. If you're a casual 'day traveler' bopping about on your own, I absolutely recommend it. No AC, but they supply a fan, which is perfect, and the location is just PERFECT!"

"It would have been nice for more info in the room as I was not sure if there was room service. I could see a 24 hour menu which may have been for this but it only had 2 dinner items on which is not really alot for people who want room service. It was brilliant that breakfast was served from 4 am and that we could take away some continental as we had to leave at 4 and the ease of going straight from hotel to airport under a covered walkway was excellent."

"The staff were very helpful and super friendly. The hotel looks modern and has a great vibe around the reception and bar but it's let down by the restaurant. We found the food a bit lacklustre, especially given the price (and the service charge!). The rooms are showing their age, although comfortable there are some finer details that can't be improved on without a bit of refurbishment. The biggest thing for us though was the inefficiency of the air conditioning (I suspect it wasn't working at all), we spent a very warm and stuffy night in the room as we felt it was too late to inform reception and we were getting up very early for a flight. Would I stay again? Yes, but have food as a bar snack and remove the service charge and make sure that the air conditioning is working."
