The restaurant was excellent, there is a full bar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We don’t have a dog, but it is a dog friendly place, and we enjoyed the furry friends’ presence. Very peaceful."

"We booked this room at short notice, deciding to break up our trip from Tobermory to Carlisle over 2 days. We got a spacious and very comfortable room, quiet and well-appointed. Like many older hotels. Hotels, in this part of the world there was no lift. Two of the staff are kind enough to help us get our luggage upstairs. It was nice to be within walking distance at the train station. Breakfast offerings were fairly lavish, fresh and appetizing."

We had a very spacious twin room that had everything we needed for our stay as well as a lovely view of the hotel grounds and surrounding hills. There's a great lounge with games like pool, table tennis and darts. Overall a great stay."
