The guest house is lovely, the rooms are clean and beds very comfortable, parking on site is handy, the local post office and deli are only walking distance which was great. Honestly tho, the whole hotel experience is made by Christine the manager. Firstly, her porridge is to die for! So creamy - we had it 3 mornings in a row. Secondly, she just could not do enough for us to make our stay more comfortable, it made us feel like we were very welcome. But the absolute best thing about Christine was that she was so kind to us and has exceptional knowledge about the local area, we did almost everything that she suggested and it was all fabulous. Do yourself a favour and stay here because the guesthouse is great accommodation and if you’re lucky you’ll meet Christine who will become one of the highlights of your trip. It's in need of modernisation but clean and convenient for the main road to Oban and the railway station.
