"We had a lovely stay at Rosemary Cottage Annexe, impeccably clean, very picturesque area, didn't need to use the car much which we loved, got lots of steps in! 20 mins walk to nearby cove with lovely beach cafe, and had a fabulous meal in The Thatched Inn 😍"

"A lovely property in a lovely location. In the countryside but a short drive to all of the local attractions. Stayed for a long weekend and would definitely return. The garden gets good sunshine and is mostly fake grass so doesn't get muddy if it rains. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The walk in shower cubicle is in a small ensuite but there's an over bath shower in the bigger main bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and there were tea bags and coffee pods already there for us."

"We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. We found fabulous art store, along with a great bakery for breakfast goods and pasties, in addition fudge, chocolate and ice cream stores all very yummy. Be advised Salcombe itself is not car or wheelchair friendly. We were...

"This cottage is one of the best equipped holiday homes we have stayed in. It was a comfortable home from home. The cottage is close to local shops and restaurants, as well the bus stop for the short ride to the harbour and shopping area. We would highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting the Torquay area."

"Great place for the family, our 5-yr old loved the stairs and having his own bathroom! Nicely equipped kitchen, and room for the grandparents to visit. We even cooked, which we don't usually do on vacation! Enjoyed the games rooms and pool too. Only thing missing was a wood burning stove! Loved it, will definitely recommend it"

"We had a lovely week here with out two teenagers, the cottage was super clean and had all the amenities you would need, Inc all the kitchen gadgets you need to cook with which makes life easy and saves bringing extra stuff. Great communication with host before our stay and the instructions for our visit were easy to follow. We loved the location and the comfort of the cottage. Just beautiful!! Yes the lanes are truly country - tight, muddy and bumpy but nothing unusual or to put you off. "The house is perfect for a couple and dogs. It’s location is excellent, there is a park and sea walk, literally a few minutes away, and an amazing walk down to the dog friendly beach. The harbour and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away. The house is lovely, very light and airy with an open plan downstairs, leading to a private garden and patio area. It is also very quiet, just birds singing. I would strongly recommend this property in Devon."
