Will look to come back -

Lovely place, lovely setting. Convenient for a Plymouth but quiet and picturesque, fantastic walks along the Yealm. And a great pub.

Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. Would definitely return

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

Great place to stay right in the heart of Totnes. Our room was lovely and bright with big windows. Good food available downstairs and helpful, friendly service from the landlord Jake and his staff.

Very spacious and complete room, nice Inn for a drink. Parking available.

Lovely people. Very friendly. It’s not the Ritz but you do get what you pay for, and as such, it’s excellent. We had a lovely time.

Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers

Travelled down to attend my brothers wedding .staff were friendly and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised at size of room and en suit.the reseption was also held in the Inn and have never attended such a beautiful entertaining reception and the buffet and barbacue couldnt be faulted

Fine for many but we (and another guess) had somewhere to be at 9am, meaning breakfast was very very rushed.

This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...
