Room was luxurious and lovely

From start to finish it’s like being at home, the 2 ladies that run the front desk and dining room are fantastic

Stayed here quite a few times and always happy there. Easy parking, friendly staff and clean fairly well equipped rooms. Easily on par with premier inn if not better.

I was impressed by the attention to detail for all the food courses and meals that we had. All very good.

We have stayed in this hotel lots of times over the last 3 years and it has always been comfortable .

Stayed here for 1 night for a near by family wedding. Nice hotel , not grand but clean comfortable and friendly. Reception very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The staff were very polite helpful and everyone sported a smile. Would stay here again Very good value.

We found this hotel to be far enough away from the town centre to not be bothered by any noise but close enough for a nice stroll and the sunset over the harbour was lovely. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of time and money on this once run down to turn it into a comfortable hotel with more improvements planned.

Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. This was my second visit and the service was even better than last time when it was exemplary. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough to help us. They even helped me with the bags because my husband is less abled. They were very attentive and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. Fantastic spa hotel with neighbouring Woodland Trust forest to explore. The leisure facilities include a heated indoor pool, sauna, hydro-pool and steam room. There's also a wonderful roof terrace which was handy as it was a lovely sunny day. We ate dinner and lunch at the hotel, both were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and we were able to organise a late checkout with the reception team who were very flexible. We will certainly stay again.
