"Beautifully decorated room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. We had food and drinks at the Seadog pub which we would highly recommend. The only downside was the noise which was to be expected above a pub on a Saturday night but could also hear people going up and down the stairs during the night. Otherwise could not fault and host very helpful."

"Excellent location. Given a warm and informative welcome on arrival. Room clean, toiletries and drink making equipment in situ. Comfortable bed and sufficient pillows and linen, Great to have a fridge in the room and milk for beverages. Breakfast was of a high standard and plenty of choice. Enjoyable stay"

"So happy we stayed here on our recent four night trip to Hastings. The property is large and spacious and well furnished. It is very centrally located. After using the buses our first day (with luggage and tired from train travel with three kids and luggage), we relied on our own two feet after that. Easy walk to the Hastings train station without luggage and to anywhere else in the Old Town area and beachfront. The host provided us with a few basic breakfast provisions on arrival which was super nice. The place felt quite cold when we arrived because we were a bit early. We’re not used to places with radiator heating but give it time and keep the doors closed as instructed and it comes to a good temperature. The property does have two steep staircases inside and stairs up to the front door that would not be suitable for children under 6-7 years of age and probably older people as well (70 maybe)? Just the nature of being an older place. We only had the one kitchen trash bag despite a large role of recycling bags. We didn’t realize this until we were trying to clean up for departure. I’m sure a simple oversight because otherwise everything was great. The bathrooms/toilets/showers as lovely and modern, so no worries about that! "

"The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The style of the decor was great. It was a nice suprise to have a sea view in the morning, and the bakery treats were a great addition!A few flights of stairs up to the flat, but that wasn't a problem for us. Parking was a bit of a problem arriving late Saturday afternoon but the other days were fine.The location was perfect and we loved Hastings. We were very pleased with our choice of accommodation."

While the building and décor are slightly dated and I had a room with shared bathroom and toilet facilities, everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. The shared amenities were always tidy, and I never had to wait to use them. The room itself was cozy, comfortable, and had all the essentials. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions. The location is also excellent – just a short walk from the train station and close to the seafront and shops.
