"We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that. "
"Lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. The staff were so very friendly and efficient. Really exceptional breakfast. Great great great. We will be returning for sure."
"Good location for purpose of my stay. Very friendly staff.
Needed to keep window open for air, traffic on street can be quite noisy. Could also hear people in other rooms/pub downstairs. Could not get Television to operate properly (sound but no picture)."

"Zanzibar was recommended to us by friends who’d previously stayed there, telling us how spacious, stylish and well located it was. They were 100% correct. Our family group aged 1-83 were able to spread out, with the fittest taking the Manhattan suite and my elderly mum taking Bali, as it is reached via the least steps. Some of the room have spectacular sea views, but every room had its charms. I’m currently hopping about on one leg recovering from a broken ankle and was able to hoist myself into the South America room which has walk in (Zimmer!) access to the shower and loo.We like the communal cooking experience on family holidays and certainly had enough storage, prep and dining space. The ice-maker is handy (but a bit noisy if you’re relaxing in the lounge). The garden is fabulous and the photos don’t do it justice. We had a BBQ one night and spread ourselves across the 3 levels, including the hot tub. The view from the outside sofa through the house to the sea is something to behold.Thank you Max and Katie for excellent coordination before and during our stay. Hastings and St Leonards are also a great place for a week. Even in my incapacitated state, I could access the sea front cafes just a few metres away. "
"Mould covered the bathroom walls, old out dated mixed furniture, four poster bed no curtain. The curtain rail missing in most places, which needed a good paint job. mattress kept coming off bed.
No Pressure in shower. Tv put on wall lopsided, no one on reception, and when you finally caught up with host she was rude!! Asked us to leave room a day early she'd double booked room!! Dreadful "
"Close to everything! Easy walking distance from the train station, minutes from the town centre and beach. My daughter and I have stayed here twice now and we had the same twin room, which is perfect to crash after crazy golf, fun in the sea, shopping and dining! The receptionist was nice and polite, and although we didn’t eat or drink at the hotel I could see a good selection of beverages behind the bar, and the breakfast room looked nice. For the price, this is a great option for a budget getaway. We will come to stay again, thank you!"
"The room was compact but very comfortable. It was spotless and very well appointed, with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and even a standing fan. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. Definitely a room for a solo traveller though! "
