I discovered a number of defects in our assigned room; (408) and reported them at breakfast. they were all remedied before we had finished our meal! We could not have asked for more supportive and friendly staff."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was so warm, despite having a desk top fan, that we found it difficult to sleep. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable price."
