"Wanted some cheap basic accommodation for 2 nights. Found it eventually after driving through the narrow lanes some of which weren't signposted very well but adds to the fun!. Very neat and cosey and the bed was particularly comfortable. Nicely laid out with some nice touches. Ideal if you want some peace and quiet as it is tucked away at the back of the village in what used to be an old veg garden."

"The Hosts Jill & Andrew were brilliant always there if needed. Oak lodge was all you could ask for, 5 star accommodation, a super hot tub on the decking overlooking the fish stocked lake. So relaxing watching the fish surface and jump. Alpacas in the fields beyond and lovey views beyond them. No noise of cars, crowds or music, you are back to Nature If you're looking to get away from it all this is the place."

"Cannot recommend enough superb in all aspects very quiet area away from busy lives. Very clean everything you need for a perfect stay plus extra personal touches from the host ie fresh flowers and home made cakes. Lots of walks nearby and loved seeing the sheep and chickens every morning when you wake up."

"Our first impression was WOW! We stayed for 3 days whilst visiting family. The cabin catered for all our needs, with a well equipped kitchen for cooking, a power shower and so much more. We enjoyed cozy evenings by the fire, and wonderful night sleeps. 10 minutes drive from West Bay/Bridport. "A beautiful old farmhouse with a lovely large garden in a lovely area. We enjoyed ourselves and the property was very clean and well presented. A minor issue (shower fell apart in one bathroom) was resolved quickly and with no fuss or question. We all felt a few more consumables would have been provided for a property of this size and quality. Many others we have stayed in over the years have provided a few bin bags for example (we were given one spare) and we had to move light bulbs about when...

"Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
