"Modern rooms and amenities that look like they were remodeled within the last year or two.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent restaurant with interesting items on the menu and a pleasant bar with about 15 items on tap.
Good value stay."

We booked for 3 nights B and B from 28th May. The location was easy to find and we had a choice of two rooms. Both were large double bedrooms with duel aspect views over the local area. We choose the one with the views over the front of the building and the hills beyond. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us tea and biscuits on arrival. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The later had a stand alone bath with taps and shower head on a...

Very comfortable, all facilities good. Close to city centre. Room small (attic room) but that's what I paid for. Staff courteous and chatty and gave good advice. Not keen on the small TV in room but views more than made up for it. Tea, Coffee, biscuits, fresh milk, mini bar with local produce (mostly ciders), all very good. Breakfast was excellent with a highly varied and quality choice. En-suite clean, everything worked, plenty of goodies

This Guest House is very welcoming. You are greeted with a big smile and settled in quickly and smoothly. If you have any issues, there is a can do approach to helping you out. There is a lovely homely lounge for visitors to share inclusive with fridge, games, tv, open fire, and for the adventurous, maps. Breakfast is as large and varied as you could want or need and dietary requirements are met as well as the local supply allows. This was an off-season stay which had plenty to do for a short...

Our 3rd visit to this wonderful hotel and we are already booking for December where they have lovely open log fires just adding to the surrounds. Ian also delighted they have relaxed the lounge menu which can now be eaten at tables. Quite right too so great management decision. Their main menu is a wonderful 5 courses but if staying more than a day then it’s nice to have a more relaxed menu choice which this time we had. So Langford Hall just gets better... lovely room this time too (9). The...

We booked The Parkway for two nights as we were coming to Wales for a family party which was being held there. We have stayed there before, a long time ago and visited on various other occasions. We were impress by the helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness. I couldn't fault it in any way. Our breakfast was among the best we have had anywhere. The bed was a bit hard, but that is a matter of personal taste. I loved the dragon mugs in the bedroom and bought three!

Clean, well presented, friendly helpful staff and a decent breakfast! Couldn't ask for any more, was a great place to stay. We only stayed one night but would be happy to return and stay longer!
Highly recommended

Arrived early as we were going to a matinee show in the Millennium centre. Although our room wasn't ready there was a place to store our belongings safely. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast is amazing.

This is a lovely old hotel that reminds me of old style fishing hotels I used to stay in when I was a kid and every river had a number of hotels that made a good living from visiting anglers. Unfortunately the days of relying on angling trade are gone, but this place retains the same feel and sense of peace and quiet that I used to love.
The food was really nice and the lady that served it was lovely and very attentive.
I will make a point of staying there whenever so am in the area and next...

Located between Cardiff Bay and the town centre though a little too far to walk. Very nice building from the outside with a number of parking spaces which get filled up quite quickly. Excellent welcome and reception service from Sakhwat and a delightful ground floor room alongside the river. Great breakfast included. All staff seemed really happy and welcoming. Recommended.

Hotel was clean and welcoming.
First impression in foyer is bright and modern. Room a little dated but personally I don’t care about that at all so long as it’s clean, which it was.
I appreciated being able to open the window, a good shower with towels that actually fit around an adult, plenty tv channels and good supply of tea/coffee and biscuits. Sometimes thats just what you want when in a hotel for an evening!
Staff were helpful and friendly.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

My partner and myself had a relaxing time, we enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi etc during the afternoon, we then sat down in the evening in the restaurant and enjoyed a lovely meal. The view although dark out was great of the lights in the valley. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable.
Breakfast which was buffet style and in the restaurant was very good, it had a lot to offer all tastes and was very plentiful. We will look to come back and hope to try the golf course next time.
