Karen and Graham made us feel so welcomed. Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location next to the beach and harbour. Also close to some great restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Saddlers :). Milky is a wonderfully attentive host. Attended to our every need & was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and places of interest too. We had a very relaxing stay.

Our weekend was set for some truffle hunting and we chose Munden House as our base. We were given the Dairy cottage which was warm and cute. Although we didn't make as much use of the place as we'd like to have, it was wonderfully cosy. The bedding was perfect for a luxury sleep. And the couple that run the hotel are charming and delightful to chat to. Highly recommended.

The Bay Lodge was exactly what I hoped for - very reasonably priced, no frills accommodation, a friendly family-oriented atmosphere, (being a small concern allows for a much more personalised service), and good quality breakfast with more than adequate options available - all in all the perfect launchpad for my week in Eastbourne.
A note of realism - if you're hoping for the Ritz Carlton this is not the place for you. If, however, you want budget accommodation done well in a classic English...

We recently stayed at Acqua Beach Hotel in Weymouth and had a lovely experience overall. It’s a nice, small place that feels welcoming and well-kept. The room was very clean and tidy, which we really appreciated.
The staff were all fantastic, always smiling, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference.
Breakfast was really nice, with a good system where you order the night before (before 11 pm). The food itself was great, although the serving time felt a bit...

An excellent location on the beach front. Thank you Roger and Sylvia for a comfortable stay and lovely breakfasts. One point to be aware of, our "private bathroom" included an en-suite shower, but separate toilet, only for our use, which was down a short corridor.

This guesthouse was perfect in every way. The single room was a little on the small side, but I expected that, and it was immaculate. By which, I mean spotless and without fault. Keith, who welcomed me to the A&V was the perfect host, and when I had to be up earlier than normal for Eastbourne Extreme I was attending, he cooked breakfast earlier so I wouldn't miss out. Basically, everything I wanted, I got with a smile. And it is 100 feet from the beach. I'm sure there are other places in...

When we arrived at Churchill Guest House we have been welcomed by Alex who was very kind and helpful as he gave us many tips on places to see and restaurants.
Our room, Clementine, was very clean and comfortable. I do recommend staying there.

Lovely room! Nice welcome and couldn’t do enough to accommodate me! Very pleased and will definitely stop again when I’m next in Eastbourne. Thank you.

Great little 1 day stay over, room has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. Best to get there late to get the street parking and seafront and shops are very close by 5 mins walk away. Will be back for sure for more mini breaks 😊

Lovely one night stay whilst visiting for the tennis. Room was spacious, clean and with comfy beds. Good WiFi. Great breakfast. Very pretty front garden with colourful flowers and B&B had been themed with tennis balls especially for the event. Being a bit further out means more walking but easily doable and it meant parking on local streets was free. Would visit again.

What is the nightly rate for a guest house in South Coast?
Rates for South Coast guest houses vary, but travelers can find great-value prices from £44 with Expedia. A range of factors can affect nightly rates, such as the location, the breakfast offering, and the range of amenities. Travelers looking for a good deal should consider looking for a midweek stay, as weekend rates at South Coast guest houses tend to be higher. Remember to also use our filters to sort prices from low to high.
What's the difference between a South Coast guest house and a B&B?
A guest house in South Coast is typically a larger establishment with more rooms, offering a more hotel-like experience, and may provide additional amenities including luxury bedding. In contrast, a B&B is usually a smaller property that focuses primarily on providing a room and breakfast. A B&B is often more personal, and breakfast is typically included as part of the stay, but other services might be more limited compared to a guest house.
