On arrival we were welcomed our room was very clean but to small for 2 people we were ok for 2 nights but for any longer would be awkward The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly, and professional nothing was to much and they all had a smile on their faces The breakfasts were freshly cooked ...
The bath was dirty we reported it to a member of staff they said I'll be back shortly and never came back
The room was clean and tidy. A bit noisy at night due to generator, pump close by.no information book, or hair dryer in the room.overall a pleasent stay.
Friendly and warm welcome, clean and heated room, very good food, - what else can you wish for on a rainy cold day arriving tired from the journey?
This was a really wonderful stay. The owners really care about their guests and we loved feeling part of the 'family' with the dogs and cats. This is a very special place.
We had a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing 5 days. From the welcoming tea in the drawing room onwards, Patricia couldn’t have been more helpful or made us feel more at home. A gem of a house with beautiful views, well positioned for so many places of interest.
Lovely quiet hotel. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Lots of little extras that make it that bit soecial. Excellent breakfast. Good all round experience.
Nice visit, poor weather. Staff welcoming and helpful.
By booking in to a pet-friendly hotel in Somerset, such as the Tarr Farm Inn in Dulverton or Saffron House Hotel in Ilfracombe, you won't have to leave your beloved pet behind when you head off on holiday. Somerset, with its wide open spaces, scenic walks and areas like Exmoor National Park and the Mendips, is a happy romping ground for dogs and humans alike, and pet-friendly hotels will have all the facilities you and your pet require.
If you want your dog to have as enjoyable a time as your family when you visit this part of England then be sure to pick a good Somerset pet-friendly hotel. Nutritious canine food will be on the menu, along with a variety of extras like occasional snacks, blankets and comfortable sleeping quarters. It's a dog's life in Somerset's pet-friendly hotels, and he probably won't want to return home with you at the end of the break!
The treats and toys made available at pet-friendly hotels in Somerset like Halfway House Inn Country Lodge in Yeovil are part of a package made available for guests' pets. Many people feel guilty for having to leave their pet to be looked after by friends or professional kennel staff when they go off for a break, and these hotels have spotted a gap in the market. A well-trained dog can often be better behaved than some of the guests, and properly looked after, he'll be no trouble at all. The lobby staff will have information on local dog walking areas, parks and pet-friendly establishments in the area, and they'll always available with help and advice. There may even be facilities such as a professional dog walking service, and the hotel will have links with local vets and pet suppliers.
The few rules that apply to pets are no more onerous than the sensible ones which you as a guest will be expected to abide by. They'll include such things as keeping your dog on a lead whilst on the premises - hardly much of a problem when you consider all the advantages of a pet-friendly hotel break in Somerset!
