Wonderful place to stay in Glastonbury, full of furniture, artifacts and books of great intrigue with a story to tell. Herne's room was smart and comfortable (and new en-suite - great move!) with a view across to the Abbey's Kitchen. Having the kitchen space with amenities, coffee/tea/sugar as you expect, fresh water and milk in the fridge, microwave, etc., was really handy. Everything you need for a few night's stay. Tony is a great host from check-in until the minute you leave and the guys make a great breakfast to get you off to a good start. Pubs and restaurants only minutes away, but of course you're visiting for the whole town and wonderful surrounding area, you won't be disappointed!

Love this place so much. You could spend a day of your holiday in the hotel alone looking at all the artifacts, sitting in the front room chilling, playing the guitar or just relaxing in the luxurious rooms. Located opposite the Abbey and a stones throw from the main shopping area. Freshly cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit...if you want something just ask as nothing seemed to be any problem whatsoever especially Byron who always seems to be on duty :). If you get a chance to stay here (even without designated hotel parking) please do as it’s a must in my book.
