"This is a prime Time Square location. It's an old, noisy hotel but has so much character and the wine happy hour is great. Rooms are good size too! The included breakfast is grab-and-go, but it's great."

"On our first night, during heavy rain and freezing temperatures (31°F), the windows in our assigned room would not fully close, allowing rainwater to trickle into the room. At the same time, the only heat source was a radiator with no temperature control, causing the room temperature to rise to approximately 78°F. With no ability to regulate the temperature and rain entering through the window, we were forced to turn the heat off entirely and endure the conditions for the night since it was already very late. The second night presented another major disruption. Around 1:00 AM, a rooftop compressor from the neighboring building began cycling on and off, producing noise comparable to a semi-truck directly outside our 12th-floor window. We contacted the front desk and were eventually offered a room change at 1:00 AM. The replacement room unfortunately had similar issues: again, there was no HVAC control beyond a radiator that could only be turned on or off, and the window air conditioner had been bagged and left in the window, allowing cold drafts and outside noise into the room. Additionally, we were informed that the water would be shut off from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM the following day, which required us to alter our plans. The most difficult situation occurred on our departure morning. Checkout was at 11:00 AM, and when we woke up we discovered that the water was once again shut off. This meant we were unable to shower, brush our teeth. "

"tons of shops, about 10 min walk to Times Square. the vending machines don’t give water though as advertised, it kept producing brisk tea. bathrooms weren’t super clean. also the men in the lobbies kept asking for a room key but we noticed other guests of different races got to walk through no issues "
