"Excellent room facilities. Reception staff very helpful. It was great to be able to leave luggage with reception owing to early arrival & later departure by train. Although breakfast was classed as complimentary, there was a very good choice of cereals, juice, breads etc. The only slight disappointment was with the quality of the cooked breakfast available, largely basic catering products. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, location excellent for the centre of York & convenience of the railway station. We would certainly stay again."

"Stayed at the clayton hotel for a night. the hotel was really good reception staff friendly and helpful. even managed to book in early. tip: its a ten minute stroll to the Train Station not worth the £9 black cab ride that's for sure."
