"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"All you could want from a night stay, self catering. They also left us fresh milk which was much appreciated. "

"Close to all activities, eatings out, parks and museums. Highly recommend."

"Upper Vobster was a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation is wonderful, and our children loved meeting the animals. Michael and Tricia were great hosts, too."

"Lovely place to stay. Very clean. Everything you needed for a weekend away. Help around if needed. Would stay again."

"Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them."

"Loved it"

"Great location, close to a car park and all the things central in Bath"
