The staff have been amazing everytime we have been visiting for the last ten months more on a weekly basis however recently have not felt that welcomed by a certain member of staff who shows no customer service care at all and come across very rude and abrupt. Great base for a short stay. Had been to see an act at Sheffield City Hall as well as see my daughter at uni there. Great central position.
Not the owners fault, but as a single female could see how could be a little intimidated, two lads were sat legs out their window by the main entrance as I walked my daughter to friends around 11pm.

We both enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion, the staff could not do enough for us, especially as I wanted to make sure Motorbike was in a secure place. Ideal for a relaxing break, even if the have a function on, as you cannot hear any music, plus the beds are so relaxing that you just want to get out of bed.

We booked a 2 night stay here to celebrate my wife's birthday , we wanted a relaxing weekend and the white horse seemed to offer what we were looking for . Right from check-in i realised we had definitely picked the right place . We received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our room . We picked a junior suit and there was nothing junior about it. We found it big , bright and offered everything we wanted . Very clean and well presented.

Great PLace to stay. Its new management and just getting off the ground but the quality and provisions were excellent for the money. I cant fault it . I was the only one in the restaurant but they were attentive and the food was brilliant. hopefully theyll take off .
