Hotel Sopra Le Mura

10/10 Excellent

"They went above and beyond to assist us !"

Villa Mariannina with garden, private pool and whirlpool, free Wi-Fi.

10/10 Excellent

"The property is tucked away across an olive orchard and is a converted agricultural building. It was a very comfortable place to stay and we especially appreciated the pool for the hot days and air con on the hotter evenings. Nothing was too much trouble for Lucietta, our host. We were provided with some starter goodies and she also provided good recommendations for a number of places to visit and places to eat. We would have no hesitation to recommend this vacation property to our friends. A lovely relaxing 2 weeks."

Hotel Cala Marina

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is small and right on the front of the harbour. Breakfast was a delight and the ladies on the breakfast room were excellent. Overall the staff were always friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay. Just one warning for the town itself. It is all up hill from the harbour and you will definitely need your walking legs."

Badia Rooms & Breakfast

10/10 Excellent

"This was an amazing stay! The staff were so welcoming and helpful in every way! Graziella is a warm and caring staff member, she does it all; welcoming committee, domestic services as well as breakfast hostess extraordinaire! All the staff were amazing, from showing us where to park for free (and driving us to our car that was parked a distance away) to restaurant recommendations. Castellammare del Golfo was a great little town to walk ( bring your walking shoes because you’ll be up & down stairs and/or hills!) but the views are stunning. The room was small, comfortable and so clean. The breakfast buffet was the most amazing spread of food I have ever seen in any country! I wanted to try everything because most was homemade but I was so full! Our room had a small balcony to catch a breath of sea air. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away but there are more down the hill along the waterfront if you’re up to a climb! There is a small elevator which is convenient for taking luggage to your room."

Dream House Sicily Scopello

8/10 Good

"A lovely villa, great time was had. But attention is required to make it more comfortable. Positives:- Air conditioning worked perfectly- Pool area & outside area were great. - Room sizes are large and spacious.- Beds were very comfortable. - All bathrooms worked, we all had ensuites.- Baby facilities were plentiful.- Washing machine and plenty of clothes airers (pegs were lacking).- The house had separate towels available for the pool usage. - Rubbish collection was faultless - as this can be a problem in Italy which we have established on previous holidays. Negatives:- Lack of comfortable inside seating downstairs. You have to use the mezzanine level, but there are only 3 chairs. Also the TV downstairs is *so* loud the volume could not be changed. - No hoover but there is a cupboard dedicated to hoover attachments? Iron does not work. Dishwasher required rinse-aid. Coffee machine needed descaling. - Lack of storage in bedrooms and kitchen. We all had to live out of our suitcases. - There is not enough proper drinking glasses for the amount of people this house holds. - The hot water ran cold every night - 8 adults having showers was too much? - The sprinklers! The timings need adjusting. They come on at 2pm and create a slip and slide on the path. The amenities are lacking here. If attention is provided to the above *finer* details it would be a 10/10 villa."

Guest-house "The Fisherman's Lodge"

10/10 Excellent

"la struttura ben tenuta, siamo stati veramente benissimo, la disponibilità della proprietaria è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Posizione perfetta al centro di castellammare del golfo, prezzo giusto. Per il parcheggio un pò complicato ma è messo in conto di voler alloggiare al centro della ztl di castellammare del golfo, quindi non inficia sulla nostra valutazione del soggiorno."

DREAM VILLA FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. WHAT A GREAT PLACE FOR SPECIAL REUNION

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was amazing for our stay. We stayed here during our wedding trip to Castellanmare with our family. The accommodation was very spacious, had great amenities and was in a great location, walking distance from town centre. The views were great and the pool and barbeque were great to have. Our host Paola was super friendly and helpful throughout and made everything very easy. I hope I have the chance to stay again in future."
