"The room was clean, but in need of some TLC. The lights did work, when the receptionist was told she came fiddled with the light bulbs, eventually they came back on. Once turned off they would not come back on. Very much felt that was an issue the hotel knew about, but had not fixed. The staff at breakfast were not welcoming. When the breakfast came the bacon and black pudding were not fully cooked. The sausage was poor quality and very peppery. Rather disappointing. Will not be staying again."

The Belsfield Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice hotel which has had some recent refurbishment. Breakfast was only OK. Buffet style but food was only warm, some of which was poor quality. Lighting of the ballroom needs attention as it was so bright. Large lake view room was lovely, albeit it needs checking more thoroughly as there were cobwebs and maintenence issues. Gardens needs lighting as we nearly fell trying to return to the hotel o the dark. Paying for carparking when you've paid £350 per night is poor."

"Great location . Lovely receiption, dining and Bar area. The rooms were clean and a little small, but the bed was good. No water in the bedroom. Bathrooms a little dated in the room we stayed in, but all clean. The food ordering with certainly different but and the chioce limited but all to a good standard. The service was quick for the amount of people eating at the same time. I would certaintly recommend this hotel."
