"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple. "Pretty functional airport hotel. I’d say Hilton but stripped back. I didn’t have any mineral water left in my room which I would think was pretty standard for this level of hotel. It felt pretty basic. Bed was hard but I don’t really mind that. Staff were very professional. Bar staff engaging and welcoming but overall the hotel felt pretty soulless. Functional for a one night stay before an early flight but lacking in comforts, like slippers, a bath robe and the little extras that make you smile. Very clean though their choice of corridor carpets look like they’re dirty when they’re not."

"This is a fabulous hotel in all aspects but I must mention the excellent breakfast in particular. So much choice and delicious. Modern environment with lots of space and high quality furnishings. "The Genting was always a favourite stopover when traveling through England as it breaks up the trip from London to Yorkshire. The hotel is still quite nice compared to others in the area but doesn’t seem to have been maintained to the high standards it once was. The spa experience was still great, however the outdoor spa was not working and I had to share the pool experience with the cleaning crew at 7am. The building that it shares has some challenges with managing the smell from the bins and as such the hotel had to pump quite a bit of perfume into the air of the lobby to mask the smell."

"Lovely 2 night stay, great value via Expedia. Was in the area for a concert at Warwick Arts, visits to Kenilworth Castle and Stoneleigh and proved ideal location. Not at all snooty or stuffy like some country hotels. Clean modern bathroom, comfortable bed, good breakfast, pleasant walks from hotel, well equipped gym. Lots of hotels in this area, glad we chose this one."
