"Great location for the train station. Cheap as chips room but needs a deep clean. Shower and all grout in bathroom has mildew, I didnt use the shower because of it. Nice touch with a few bottles of water and some tea/coffee making facilities as well as an information foldr of local area and eateries. The room smelled of marajuana all night. Not sure if the room below was smoking or if it was coming from outside. The bed really needs a new mattress, very cheap and spongy and the pillows are...

"Stayed with 10 friends with average age of 60. Photos of house interior on Vrbo are generally accurate - those on the website for Wheathill show different furniture and soft furnishings. Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. "Unassuming from the outside, excellently decorated and equipped internally, including a nice garden."

"Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again."
