"Only two negatives : Needs black out blinds woke early as too bright. Beds arnt the comfiest , I sleep on a flat bed settee so the crease was in my bad and so uncomfortable and flat/hard & pillows were useless, not comfy On the plus : Clean , modern , bathroom nice and warm (radiator constantly on in there ) . Nice neutral decor . Well equipped kitchen , clean fluffy towels , hairdryer/iron/fan . Host was attentive ,very helpful told us to call if any problems , answered phone every time....

"The property was perfect for what we needed. Close to things we wanted to see and do, quiet and comfortable. However, the check in instructions were really unclear and I was scrabbling to send ID and payment details whilst travelling up to the property as this had not be requested and it wasn't until I called to ask for check in details that I was told this was needed. This should be made much clearer."

"The place itself is nice. Internally…… its right above a very noise pub doing karaoke till gone 11. The flat is not sound proof at all. We booked this last minute on a Friday for the Saturday night. At 2pm on the Saturday afternoon i picked up an email saying we need a £150 deposit now and 2 photo forms of ID. 1 for each adult. "What a great location, thats it. The appartment could be some much better. It was clean but damage to walls, pictures propped up on the floor, bulbs missing from lamp, sofa in lounge disgusting and dirty, no tv remote and worse of all it absolutely stunk of cannabis all night and no way of removing the smell as no air conditioning. "More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."
