"2 night stay , parking was perfect , the room was a very generous double … huge bed , and in like a motel type set up . So despite being on a road was not noisy . Perfect to explored Holy Island Donna one of staff was a 5star herself , nothing was too much trouble , and we were welcomed and well looked after -thanks "

"The property is very well equipped, clean and tidy . Good shower plenty of hot water and heating. The main drawback for us personally was the very hard mattress in the main bedroom, the second double bedroom mattress was similar .The location is good for seeing Holy Island and also the Scottish borders but the A1 is a very busy road and was quite noisy. Northumberland is a beautiful county and well worth a visit. "

"This is a lovely property.Close to the A1 but we didn’t hear it, yes you did hear trains every so often.The kitchen is beautiful.The decoration and attention to detail is wonderful. We visited Banburgh, Warren Mill, Warkwoth Castle, Seahouses and Craster to name a few.It is on a working farm so be prepared to hear cows every so often and tractors but we loved that. Great garden and food for birds was provided, a nice touch."
