This wasn't a Hotel, it was a Pub/Restaurant with rooms (46 of them) no room service (no tel. in rooms) Room 21 was brilliant, large, wonderful views, very comfortable but at a very high price. This is a very popular pub/restaurant with lots of visitors, many with dogs and the pub/restaurant was very busy centred around the bar and extremely efficiently run, but no warmth or atmosphere, due mostly to the incessant demands of customers and the unimaginative seating layout. Sea Houses itself was very disappointing, a very small run down seaside town, though the bakery was wonderful. If you like Margate you'll like SeaHouses.
