Extremely clean, parking on site for free and comfortable common spaces to linger, The included breakfast is delicious including croissants, bread, homemade apricot jam, fresh fruit, local yogurt. This is a very good location for visiting Giverny – Claude Monet. Host is gracious and friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Although a little of route it was a stop off on our way to La Rochelle. We found this a great restful break and a great start to our holiday. I’ve bases it all 5 stay on the price of the stay £140 for a family of 5. We had the 3 bedroom accomadtion and it had everything we needed. It is dated, but all in all a good stopping point for us as this is always difficulty for a family of 5."

"The accommodations in the old mill are fabulous! Updated rooms with antique furnishings. Heat and AirCon. Lovely sound of the weir. I requested a "river view room if possible" and got the best room on the premises! The grounds are well tended & include riverside dining, lawns, sun deck, hot tub, and a tiny sauna with a river view. Excellent for a getaway holiday. Having a car or a bicycle would increase the options for activities and dining. Tho the hotel chef is top notch and the food excellent. Breakfast was also good with many choices."
