Super reception staff, so helpful. Staff excellent overall. Room fabulous, really spacious, pool lovely, restaurant lovely, service excellent , tapas and bubbly (Cava) - complimentary - a real treat. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The hotel is located in a residential area with a 15 minute walk to the beach and 25 minute walk to the town centre. As a family, we have always opted for the all inclusive option in a hotel, however, after our experience at this accommodation, I can gladly state that we are converted to the self catering option. Went on holiday with elderly parents 84 & 87. We had a pool view with balcony so always something to see. Also easy walk across the road to a beautiful tree lined walkway, beach and sea views. Great holiday second time we have been to this hotel.

Greatly located in the less English part of Salou! Very close to high street shops, restaurants and the beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel just beside the theme park. Could go on and out of the park at any time. The staff were amazing too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We reviewed lots of hotels before deciding we wanted to stay at the Playa Park and we weren't disappointed. The room and facilities were spot on - controllable and reliable air conditioning, a lovely shower, comfortable beds, blackout blinds which could leave you in pitch darkness all day if you wanted. Pro’s: The sandy pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, always some available at the time we went. Buffet breakfast and dinner always had wide selection available. Other restaurants available but we had half board so just used the buffet in the Bohio restaurant. Comfortable chairs outside the bar to relax and have a drink after dinner. We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at this hotel. The location is very good being a 10 minute stroll to the beach. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the food choice is excellent. You won't go hungry. This was our second visit and we wouldn't hesitate going again.

We just returned from a 6 night stay at the Hotel PortAventura and it was fantastic. Gorgeous hotel and great theme parks/water park just a few minutes walk away. Plenty on offer to cater for both our 12 year old and 4 year old. The service was great. Staff really friendly and helpful. The only complaint was that there was no iron available at the hotel so we'll know to take our own next time and we couldn't believe the price of water!! The buffet restaurant was superb. Everything about the stay was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast was continually refreshed with fresh fruit and cooked items. Access to the park was direct which made it particularly convenient at the end of the night as there was no queuing for buses. The pool had lifeguards that were very vigilant but non-obtrusive, excellent responses when required. A free bus operates at night from the hotel to the centre of Salou. We stayed here in September for a week,upon arrival there was a little problem but that was on our side,this what quickly resolved and we got given the keycards to our room, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
