The hotel was pleasant, clean and the breakfast was good. The location was perfect, beach, bus stop and restaurants at your doorstep. I found that the receptionist with the white framed glasses could be more helpful and maybe a little more friendly. This has such an impact on the hotel as the receptionist ...
Good location! 10 minute stroll to the beach and sea front restaurants! Very secure all round! Only downside walls are a little thin can be nosy! Apart from that absolutely perfect! Also portaventura entrance not really walkable! Would recommend car or public transport!
This resort is lovely and peaceful.. Pools and sun bathing areas are outstanding. Rooms are good however, on arrival not very clean. They could do with updating the bathroom.. Mouldy tiles etc.. My room had stains splashed on the doors and marks on the walls also dusty under beds and in corners.. ...
the check in the reception seemed to take an age, we thought there was a problem but after some time and after checking the reception team sorted it out. The facilities were really good and the waiting team were very attentive nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool had a life guard on duty ...
The room was comfortable with a view facing the ocean. The hotel is actually across the street from the beach, very easy access. If you drive you will need to contact the hotel in advance and reserve a parking spot. The beach is great and there are plenty of little shops in the area within walking ...
The staff were all very friendly and fluent English. The room was clean, and sufficient for the 2 of us. It had a little kitchenette as well which was very handy! The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it wasn't the worst just a little hard. The apt. also had air conditioning which was great at ...
Very large bathroom and hotel room. Lovely fresh breakfast, really helpful staff. The gym equipment didnt work which was disappointing but that would be the only negative. Everything was perfect and staff helped to book taxis for us non-spanish speakers.
The beaches and natural coves of Salou have attracted visitors ever since the middle of the 19th Century. In the Modernist era of the 1920s, a number of new hotels close to the beach in Salou helped it gain the nickname ‘the Beach of Europe’, and visitors today will find a range of hotels, guesthouses and apartments close to the legendary beach. Most of the attractions of the city are within walking distance of the beach and some are directly on the shoreline, such as the Luminous Fountains and the Salou Lighthouse. A good way to get a sense of Salou is to take the tourist train, which links all the beaches and coves via its network of routes.
With a combined total of 1.5 miles of golden sands, the Llevant, Capellans and Potent beaches are the focal point of the seaside action in Salou. Here you will find many different ways to take to the water, from boat and fishing trips along the coast to water sports such as windsurfing, parasailing and snorkelling. Running parallel to Llevant Beach is the Passeig Jaume I, Salou’s main promenade. This palm tree-lined pedestrian street is home to numerous boutiques, bars and restaurants. Indeed, the ‘xiringuitos’ or beach bars are a highlight of Salou’s nightlife and the perfect spot to enjoy a cold drink with a view across the water. If you are looking for something a bit quieter, the many smaller sandy coves along the coast offer a great way of escaping the hustle and bustle of Salou’s main beaches.
A hotel within walking distance of the sea is the perfect base for enjoying everything Salou has to offer. Use Expedia to search through the extensive range of beach hotels, apartments and other accommodation options and to find the perfect one for you. Whether you are looking for a cheap hotel or a luxury apartment, Salou has something to suit your needs.
