It was a lovely hotel but very difficult to find- the information given by expedia was awful and the only way to find how to get in was by a very kind local who helped, otherwise we would have been lost. This needs to have more detail in the future to help others.
Adventure and sports are around every corner in Salou. With its location on the Catalan Costa Daurada and its beautiful natural surroundings, Salou is the perfect place for a trip filled with exploration and sporting activities with a number of adventure sport hotels to choose from. Within the city itself, you have a choice of golf courses, tennis clubs and football pitches, whilst endurance athletes will find themselves drawn to the annual half marathon and triathlon events. Not far away, you will find plenty of opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, and the climate means all of this is possible year round.
Of course, the main outdoor draw of Salou is the sea, and trained instructors and guides are on hand to offer a wide selection of water sports. Kayakers will love exploring the hidden coves and rocking inlets along the coast from Salou, or you can take a catamaran trip for fishing or simply just the enjoyment of being out on the open water.
Back on dry land, the pleasant climate and scenic countryside means that Salou and its surroundings have long been popular with runners and cyclists. Add some open-water swimming at the beach, and you will soon be ready for the triathlon. The Salou coastal walk is a little more sedate, as you follow a three-and-a-half mile path taking in the beaches, the cliffs and some of the sights of the city – including the Salou Lighthouse – along the way. Once you’ve finished, Salou’s choice of restaurants are waiting to help you refuel.
If you are looking for a destination for your active holiday, search through the selection of adventure sport hotels in Salou to find your perfect base camp and place to stay after all that fresh air and activity. With a range of prices and star ratings, you are sure to find an adventure sport hotel or apartment to suit your needs and budget.
