The PortAventura Theme Park is one of the most popular in Europe and attracts millions of visitors a year. Those who want to make the most of their time at PortAventura could consider staying in the resort itself because PortAventura Hotels offer a range of accommodation within the theme park, guaranteeing your entry to all the fun and games within. Spend hours or days working through the themed lands, and when you need a food break from all the fun, you’ll have the choice of several a la carte restaurants as well as grab-and-go food stands dotted around the park. You may never want to leave...
As with the theme park itself, PortAventura Hotels are themed, so you can choose to stay in a Wild West town, a picturesque fishing village or a Mexican or Caribbean wonderland. Kids love the choice of pools at all PortAventura Hotels, and the whole family will have a great time sampling the different restaurants with international specialties. Other services include games rooms, WiFi, entertainment and activities. With different hotels, styles and rooms to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect base for your PortAventura adventure.
PortAventura theme park is made up of a number of themed areas, including China, Polynesia, Mexico and more, with over 40 different rides and rollercoasters and numerous shops and restaurants. Within the complex is also the Caribe Aquatic Park, a water-park filled with rides and slides and including the highest freefall slide in Europe.
If you can drag yourself away from the park, Salou has a lot of attractions to explore. The park is linked to the city centre, all the main attractions of Salou and the beaches via the Tourist Train. Why not head down into town early evening for a drink at a beach bar or to watch the sunset from Pilons promontory. The colourful displays of the Luminous Fountains are spectacular and well worth a look before you head back to your PortAventura Hotel for dinner and perhaps one last dip in the pool.
