Couett'hôtel Rumilly
Rumilly
6.6 out of 10, (187 reviews)

What is the best area to stay in Sales?
The best area to stay in Sales, Auvergne, France, is in the town centre, particularly around the Place de l'Eglise.

This central area offers a blend of convenience and local character. You'll find charming guesthouses and boutique hotels located among traditional stone buildings. The Place de l'Eglise is the heart of the town, featuring the historic church and often hosting local markets. The main street, Rue Principale, is lined with small shops, bakeries, and local eateries, making it easy to access amenities on foot.

Couples looking for a relaxing and authentic French experience will find the town centre ideal. It provides a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding Auvergne volcanoes and lakes, with the convenience of having dining options and local culture right on your doorstep.

For those prioritising easy access to outdoor activities, staying slightly outside the immediate town centre, towards the Lac de la Crégut, can be a great option. This area offers accommodations with views of the lake or surrounding countryside, often providing direct access to walking and cycling paths.
