"Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. All in all would definitely return, location of this hotel is perfect for winderful views and short walking distance to all that Salcombe has to offer."

"A fantastic bolt hole and such lovely hosts, available for anything . You’ve everything you need for a ‘home away from home’….and the 4 legged one adores it too. Highly recommend this property. "

"Perfect location close to town centre. Property comfy & cosy, quirky & lots of character. Very comfy beds, lovely bathroom, second floor a lovely place for young people to have their own space. Stairs to first floor really are very steep & there was also a low ceiling so anyone who is tall needs to be careful!"

"Beautiful hotel. Very attentive staff throughout or staff."

"Skønt, hyggeligt og rent hus med en god placering. "

"Great views, lovely homely atmosphere. Fabulous time had by all."

After our first trek up the hill we always took the car into the centre car parks, but there isn't always a space (hence my £70 parking...

"Great location and comfy beds"

"The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. Salcombe is very niche and expensive although very beautiful and the natives were friendly enough. There are some lovely views a hilly walk away. There are National Trust gardens...

"Great location for south sands beach and hotels "

"Was perfect location - 10 mins walking to town and 20 mins to the beaches. Lovely, clean, spacious and equipped with good views. Please note very steep hill to walk back"
