Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service...

our garden junior suite was just perfect. the restaurant serves a great selection of dishes and breakfast in the morning is served with the best views. staff is very friendly and you really feel like at home.

This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas...

Well worth the visit, fab location and lovely country hotel. The restaurant is worth a visit as great local food cooked to perfection.

The room was very comfortable, the staff were excellent. We loved the ambience and the food There was nothing we disliked except the proximity of the village church which insisted on striking every quarter hour day and night. It was an unusually warm night in October so we had the window open so I would advise using earplugs if the window is open.

Lovely small boutique hotel near the quayside with friendly staff and nicely decorated. Very busy with a coffee shop and restaurant on lower ground. Being one of the oldest buildings in the town it has low ceilings, steep stair cases, beams and wonky floors! The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Beautiful old Elizabethan mansion that presents immaculately and gives you a real sense of history. Fantastic service - nothing is too much for all the staff. I will be returning.

We received such a lovely warm welcome from Vanessa and Cameron on arrival at the Millbrook, which immediately made us feel at home. Lovely place, lovely setting. Convenient for a Plymouth but quiet and picturesque, fantastic walks along the Yealm. And a great pub.

The whole hotel is only around a year old and everything still seems like it's brand new. The breakfast was superb, the room was really nice and there's excellent on site parking in the two level underground carpark too. Will definitely be going back - Thanks.
