One of the prettiest views anywhere in England from the balcony overlooking the estuary. Rooms are well decorated, spacious and have free gin. What’s not to like?

Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service...

our garden junior suite was just perfect. the restaurant serves a great selection of dishes and breakfast in the morning is served with the best views. staff is very friendly and you really feel like at home.

Was perfect location - 10 mins walking to town and 20 mins to the beaches. Lovely, clean, spacious and equipped with good views. Please note very steep hill to walk back

The apartment is amazing with fantastic views across the estuary. Warning though, the parking space is very dificult to maneuver into, my Toyota Corolla barely made it, by backing in through the entrance, anything bigger you will struggle. Double warning, the apartment is up a very steep and long road, even 30 plus's were struggling, and there are no taxis. After our first trek up the hill we always took the car into the centre car parks, but there isn't always a space (hence my £70 parking...

We were very impressed with the house it was perfect for our needs. Luxury details and nice decor made the stay special. Just the right size for two families sharing and a short stroll away from the heart of Salcombe. Well equipped and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack were very helpful.

A spotlessly clean and well presented home with a lovely view from the patio.Superbly located near the town centre and bus stops, The parking issue is a little tedious but surmountable.

The location is very convenient for the shops and restaurants. A bonus having onsite parking (could be tricky if there are 4 bigger cars) The view from the living area with bifold doors was amazing

The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. Salcombe is very niche and expensive although very beautiful and the natives were friendly enough. There are some lovely views a hilly walk away. There are National Trust gardens...

The house is large, bright and well appointed with modern bathrooms. It has a patio within the complex but no view although there is a communal bench outside with a lovely estuary view which we used frequently. It only has electric storage heaters which were impossible to work out hence the house was cold at times. The allocated numbered car park space within the complex is on a slope and a dip so was totally unsuitable for our low car, scraped the front. We used a different space as it was...

We’ve stayed here before and find it perfect near to kingsbridge and beaches.

Well worth the visit, fab location and lovely country hotel. The restaurant is worth a visit as great local food cooked to perfection.

The room was very comfortable, the staff were excellent. We loved the ambience and the food There was nothing we disliked except the proximity of the village church which insisted on striking every quarter hour day and night. It was an unusually warm night in October so we had the window open so I would advise using earplugs if the window is open.
